Learn more about the German Shepherd Dog.
Yvette was rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas. She arrived to her foster in Pennsylvania on January 31st. She is a sweet girl who loves everyone she meets. She loves to give kisses and hugs. She loves kids and does very well with them. She gets along well with dogs but does need a slow introduction and reassurance that they wont hurt her. She loves to run and play and is very energetic. She has the typical puppy energy. She really would do best with a fenced in yard so she can run and burn up her energy. Unless you are an active person that will take her on walks everyday. She loves to play ball but really doesn't like to share them with my other foster dogs so we throw multiple balls at the same time so everyone is happy. She definetly will need training since she is a young girl. They have her at 15 months old but I really think she is younger than that. I would say she is more like 8 months old. She is a tiny little girl and I believe she will stay on the smaller side. She rides well in the car and she is house broken. I cat tested her today and she is not good with cats. She barks at them and tries to chase them. She is heartworm negative.
