Sky was rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas. He is deaf and will need to learn hand signals that his foster has begun to teach him. Sky arrived to his foster in Virginia on January 31st. So far she has learned: sweet, lovable, needs directions, good with dogs, neutered, up to date on shots, talkative, friendly, beauty. Here's an update from Sky's temp foster: Who's this stunner? It's Sky! With crystal blue eyes and a gorgeous merle color, Sky will turn heads wherever he goes. This 13 month old pup has it all! Super playful, good with dogs and a world-class cuddler. What makes this guy special? He's hearing impaired. Don't feel bad for him 'cause this smarty pants doesn't sweat the small stuff. He's learning all his basic commands and leash manners really fast since that means he gets some really tasty treats. He'll keep you on your feet. He IS a teenager and like any other emo tween, he'll throw himself on the ground when he doesn't want to listen and give you just the tiniest side eye to see if you'll cave and give him the treat. Not so fast buddy! I'm hip to your ways! With patience and consistency, the sky's the limit as to what this guy can do! (Did you see where we got the pun in?)
