Hiya, my name is Handsome! At least, that's what my foster human calls me, but I think my tag says "Fred". I've been all over the place the past few weeks like you wouldn't believe, but now I'm in Verona, VA and I'm learning a lot! 1) couches are made for cuddling. 2) there are these things called dog beds and TOYS, oh boy, am I learning about toys! What are toys, what are most definitely NOT toys. The whole shabang. 3) cats are super weird. I mean, are they dogs or are they squirrels? I'm trying to investigate more but I'm staying pretty cautious. They sure do make a lot of noise! When I got here a week ago, I was feeling pretty awful, but now I'm putting on weight and playing with my doggie friends! My foster human wants me to also mention that I'm about a year old, do all my business outside, and am quiet in my crate. I think that's pretty boring, but if it helps! I'm looking for my forever home, so if you could spread the word, I'd be most thankful :) Fred was rescued from a kill shelter in Texas. He arrived to his foster in Virginia on December 27th. He is house trained, crate trained, good with dogs and cats, friendly to strangers, and mild mannered. He has not been exposed to children, but in his playful puppy moments can try to jump or be mouthy. He is a wonderful dog, listens well, and would make a great companion.
