Shade is an extremely shy little girl, but that's to be expected with all she's been though in her short life. She'll need someone who can give her guidance and help build her confidence. She has an endless amount of energy (think Energizer Bunny), so if she had another dog as a playmate that would help her confidence and work out that excess energy. A male might be best since that was what she was used to having with her brother. Shade is not housebroken yet, but working very hard on it. It would be best if she was not adopted to a household with young children She has a lot to learn and will need training and attention to achieve this.
Shade was rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas along with her sibling, Wayne. She will be spayed at the end of February. Shade arrived to her foster on January 31st.
