10.29.19 Miles arrived on transport last weekend to his foster home. So far, he's been the bestest boy. He is estimated to be about a year old. He is full of puppy playfulness, but shouldn't get much larger than 55 lbs. Miles lives in a home with other dogs (grumpy old dogs who merely tolerate his puppy playfulness). He also lives with kitties that he's doing well with. He rides well in the car. We are utilizing crate training until we can make sure he's housebroken (he may already be housebroken, but we're not sure). We also utilize a crate to keep him safe and out of trouble when he can't be supervised. We are specifically looking for a home for Miles that is interested in pursuing professional beginner obedience classes. Formal classes will help him bond to his new family, set limitations, and show Miles how to be a good dog by reinforcing what is good and bad behavior. We will require a fenced yard or someone committed to walking on-leash. No e-fences, or unsecure yards for this silly boy. Miles may attend some adoption events, but will also be available to meet approved adopters at his home in Keedysville, MD (close to Hagerstown, MD, Harpers Ferry WV, and Frederick MD).
