Jack is now being fostered in Woodbridge, VA. He is currently settling in. He LOVES children and has been a good boy. He walks well on a leash, corrects easily, and enjoys being with his people. Jack will need to be neutered before he is adopted but he is ready to meet potential adoptive families. If you are an approved adopter and interested in Jack, please feel free to email me at 2pupdogs@gmail.com. Jack Update: Jack had a follow up visit this afternoon and as always he was a very good boy. Always happy; always loving. X-rays confirmed his lungs are now clear, but congestion is still present in his upper respiratory tract, so we are continuing on with another round of Doxycycline and some Zyrtec in case allergens may be contributing to some of the upper respiratory congestion. Other than that, Jack is on the mend and feeling much better! He even gained some weight and is now a healthy 37lbs!!
Jack arrived October 10th, 2019. He is a very sweet dog; well tempered and affectionate. Unfortunately, Jack arrived ill with kennel cough and pneumonia and is currently on antibiotics to treat the infection. He is doing well and improving daily. Jack has been a pleasure to have in our home. He loves his doggie bed, is gentle with toys and has had no accidents in the house. He enjoys the companionship of humans and does well with children who are respectful and kind. Jack rides well in the car but does alert if a stranger approaches or a noise startles him. He does well with bathing, grooming and even offers his paw for nail trims. Because Jack is still recovering from his ailments, he has not yet been introduced to other dogs or cats. I will be assessing his compatibility with other animals further once he recovers.
