Hello humans. My name is Bullet. I am a 3 year old long haired German Shepherd. I am heart worm positive. I recently came to a new home with a new foster mom. I didn’t have much training before this so we are working on a lot of new things. I know my commands but I don’t always like to do them when told. I am also house and crate trained. So my foster mom says who ever adopts me will need to continue my training and maybe even take me to a professional trainer.
I love to meet new people, though I am cautious at first. I want to be social, I just don’t know how so if you are willing to work with me I’d really like that. I also love going on walks. Mom is trying to teach me this thing called heel. All I know is when she says it she seems to want me by her side instead of sniffing the mailbox’s and grass. I sometimes try to get under her feet, I mean she seems to want me close so isn’t that the right thing to do? I don’t pull to much but I’m probably to much for someone young to handle.
Oh ya, little humans, I’m not so sure about them. When at the pet store my mom let me meet new people and I kinda hid next to her when the little ones came near, though I did give them a kissy the same as the big humans. I also have lots of energy and like to jump up and tend to get mouthy when you play with me so it’s best there aren’t any little humans at my forever home.
I do love to play though, both with humans and other dogs. My foster mom only has me so I don’t get to play much with other dogs but my old foster told her I get along with dogs just fine. Cats though are a different story. I’m not to sure what they are. The first time I saw one a ran away. I tend to ignore them though I was at a place recently that had one and I thought we should play, the humans wouldn’t let me though and the cat seemed to not want to. I guess cats are okay but we would need slow introductions and they better know what a doggy is.
Well I’m going to go chew on my antler chew and try and convince foster mom to take me on another walk. If you think you could take me on walks, play with me, and get me some more training and be my perfect forever home. Please reach out to your caseworker. I love my home but would love a forever one even more.
