Jenny is a very sweet girl that likes to give kisses. She loves people of all sizes, and also gets along well with other dogs. Jenny may need a few days to figure out the hierarchy with the resident dog(s), but doesn’t have to be the alpha. Even though she has just come out of the adolescent stage, Jenny still has a good amount of energy, so would like to find a home with an active family. Jenny also has bit of a stubborn streak, and will bark to get her way. Jenny has a high prey drive, so is not recommended for a home with cats or dogs under 20 lbs. Typical of the GSD breed, Jenny is confident, smart, enjoys learning, and corrects fairly easily. She walks well on a leash for the right handler, and needs a family that is committed to her continued training. Jenny was rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas. She is heartworm positive, but will be treated for this at SSR's expense. Jenny arrived to her foster in Pennsylvania on July 5th.
