Bonnie is a great girl that's looking to be adopted into an only dog family. She 's great in the car and is good with both strangers and kids. She is both crate and house trained. Bonnie just wants to be with her people and is a true Velcro dog. She follows you from from room to room and would just sit all day to be petted. Her favorite thing to do is chill on the porch and watch the world go by. Unless you have squeaky toys. That's another favorite! Since Bonnie is a more "seasoned" dog, she does have a touch of arthritis and has trouble with steps. It would be best if she was adopted to a home with only one floor. She takes arthritis meds and is missing some teeth, but this doesn't stop her from being a wonderful, gentle companion. From her Texas foster: Bonnie is wonderful with people. She's a velcro dog that will follow you everywhere. Bonnie is very laid-back, food motivated, likes to play with toys or just lay around. She likes to be the boss, so she has trouble being around other dogs. It was discovered that she had mammary cancer. It was removed and was so small the vets believe it is highly unlikely it will reoccur. Bonnie was rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas. She arrived to her foster in Pennsylvania on August 28th.
