My name is Jo. I am a very sweet little girl. I'm on the smaller side for being a German Shepherd but don't let that fool you! I have a BIG amount of love to give. I love my humans and I'm definitely a Velcro shepherd. I love to give kisses and cuddle with my humans. My human friend took me to the vets to get my nails cut. The vet there said I did such a good job and didn't even mind having it done! I have a lot to learn in my new environment so I get scared easily. I'm a cautious girl and initially I may get scared and bark when I meet you but I learn very quickly that most people and animals are okay. I get along with most people, dogs, and cats. Kids are okay but little kids scare me a little bit so I'd prefer going to a home with older kids. I'm good in the car, in my crate, and on a leash. I am house-trained and never have accidents in the house. I love to play with my doggy friends and my toys. I really like toys that squeak! I also like to chew on my bones. I am heartworm positive, but will be treated by SSR.
