Zara was rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas and just arrived to her foster in Pittsburgh on Many 24th. If you’re looking for a laid back pocket shepherd, Zara is your girl. Her diverse hobbies include napping out in the grass, napping on the couch, and napping on her dog bed. She is quiet and shy and will take a while to warm up to her new family, but she makes caring for her a breeze. She is crate trained but doesn’t need it- no accidents or destructive behavior. She’s house broken, super small and would make a great apartment dog. Because of how low key she is, I would recommend her for a house with older kids only. She is fine with other dogs of all size and will lightly play but likes her space and downtime.
