Have I got a story to tell you! You see, I was at a shelter in Texas and I heard the people around me talking that no one had come for me and I was on the euthanasia list for the next morning. I soon figured out that meant they were going to kill me! I thought that was rather rash seeing as I hadn't done anything wrong, so I found a way to escape out of there that night. I didn't really have anywhere to go and ended up laying down behind someone's house. They thought I was dead or dying and tried to find help for me. That's when SSR stepped in and rescued me. They found out where I was (something about a lady driving around just looking for the animal control truck) and rushed me to emergency care. I've since healed, went on a long trip up to Virginia and am ready to be adopted. I get along well with cats, although I think they want to play when they run so I end up chasing. Don't worry, I'm working on this and do really well with not skittish kitties. I have no issues with other dogs or people and really enjoy sitting at my people's feet while they're doing the dishes. I'm super helpful! Give me a chance because I'm a total sweetheart who would make the perfect family dog.
