My name is Goliath, and I was found wandering Texas with a badly infected wound on my face. When I arrived I was very scared and timid and SSR made sure that I was taken care of and got the vet care that I so badly needed. After I was feeling a little better SSR set me up with a great trainer, who worked with me and I have blossomed into the sweetest boy. I am still very shy when I first meet you, but with time I open up and am very trusting. Due to my past I will need a family who is willing to give me time to adjust and continue to work with me. Breed experience is a huge plus! I love to make my foster mom laugh and am very goofy first thing in the morning. My other favorite activities include patrolling the yard, going for walks, and taking naps. My foster brother's are pretty cool too and I love following them around the yard. I do not realize my size and frequently knock things over, and try to eat off the counter tops, so I require a human that will be diligent with me. I do not like loud noises or sudden movements - this world is a scary place you know - I will need constantly reassured to help build up my confidence. I would likely not do well in a home with children, but I have been friendly and have gently sniffed all the kids I have met so far.
