Jericho was surrendered by his owner due to neglect and, SSR took him right to the vet, where he was treated for a bad staph infection. He is feeling much better now, but the infection might have affected his eyes (we’re still waiting for more info on that). Jericho is also Heartworm Positive and all treatment to rid him of HW will be paid by SSR. This handsome, 5 year old boy is awesome, and everyone who meets him can't say enough about him. Jericho would be a perfect addition to a home with small dogs (his current best friend is a chihuahua) or an older dog that gets grumpy around younger, teenage dogs. He walks wonderfully on a leash, and will walk right beside you and never pulls. Perfect for someone with mobility issues. Plus, he likes to give kisses. This is one sweet boy.
