I was rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas. The shelter was ready to euthanize me because I was coughing and had ringworm. But I was tagged by SSR and rushed to the emergency vet thanks to donations from SSRs wonderful followers. THANK YOU SSR community! I can actually say I owe my life to you even though I'm definitely not a shepherd. Once I started feeling better, I started acting like a true terrier and am bouncing off the walls. I arrived in Virginia on March 27th. Here’s what my foster thinks about me: Since arriving in our home, she has shown my three large boys who’s boss. Chanel is a 5 month old, 20 lb terrier mix that loves to love and just wants to be loved. She’s great with dogs and she hasn’t noticed our cats at all. She does not have food aggression but we are working on feeding time (she eats very fast). No toy aggression, just loves getting them all out the box so she has lots of options. She is GREAT in the crate, no issues at all and she’s working on potty training, but so far she has had minimal accidents. She is a puppy and has a lot of energy and would do best in a home that has the time to play and take her for walks.
