Mindy was rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas. She arrived into foster care on March 1st.
Mindy is a sweetheart, is so kind and gentle, gets along with small and large dogs, does great with kids, and, from what I have seen, she just ignores cats. She is a little shy when she first meets people. If they approach her slowly or let her approach them, she does great, but if they rush up to her, she gets scared. She doesn’t do anything, but you can tell it scares her. She was playing with a 5 year old boy and she was so sweet and gentle with him. I am taking her to work everyday to try and build her confidence around strangers. Mindy is a small petite girl. Although she needs to put weight on, but she will never be a really big girl.
