My name is Sally and I feel like the luckiest girl in the world since SSR rescued me as a stray in Virginia, as I have been through quite the ordeal! My recovery is going well from my surgery after that weird infection the doctors think was Furunculosis. My foster mom is super cool and gives me extra peanut butter to take with my medication. My personality is finally coming out a little bit. Although I am shy and somewhat timid, I am aware of my surroundings and do a great job of alerting you if someone is at the door or even walking by the house. I do have some separation anxiety and like to follow even when I can see exactly where my foster mom is going. I am very calm and come over when I want snuggles, otherwise I am happy to just be a couch potato. I love to go for walks and also enjoy car rides.
The toddler is cool, he drops a lot of food for me too clean up. My doggie brothers and sister are nice too. I’m pretty submissive, so we got along good right away. I don’t get to play with them much because I still have staples in my back but we like to sniff each other through the baby gate. Not entirely sure how I will be around cats, foster mom doesn’t have any and it’s unknown if I was around them before. I’m not quite ready to be adopted yet, but I am eagerly awaiting my furever family! We’re thinking end of March I may be ready to go, once the staples are out. If you’re an approved adopter and want to set up a meet and greet, please email my foster mom at malnwah2866@yahoo.com. I am being fostered in Harford county, MD.
