I'm from West Virginia and was surrendered by my owner in the hopes of finding a better home. I just arrived at my foster mom's house. It is overwhelming! I have only lived outside during my life. I'm good at going potty outside. Everything here is new to me... the leash, the stairs, the car. I'm trying to learn what all these new things are but it's taking me time. I sometimes get overwhelmed and like to hide out in my special spot where I feel safe. My foster mom seems pretty okay. I like to follow her around the house a lot. I lay right outside the tub to make sure that the boogeyman doesn't get her while she's in the shower. I do love to give my new human friends lots of kisses once I get to know them. I love to be pet and snuggle with my foster mom when I can. I really like my treats and try to eat as many as I can even if they are on the counter or in the trash can. My foster mom says that i'll need some training to help teach me manners. I'm not a big fan of being by myself. I like to be able to see my foster mom and my new doggy brothers. After watching my doggy foster brothers and sisters i realized that they are pretty cool. I like to hang around them. If I cant see them I can get a little upset and i'll howl to let them know. I might need some work with crate training. Mom says I am a very sweet little girl. She says I just need to find someone that will be able to take their time with me. Someone who can be patient with me while I learn about all these new things around me, also while I learn what my mom calls manners.
