Sophia was rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas. She is severely underweight and has Sarcoptic Mange. This type of mange is caused by a mite which has resulted in her significant hair loss. This is treatable and after a short quarantine, made her way to Virginia, arriving on February 22nd. Stay tuned for updates!
