I was rescued from a high-kill shelter in Texas. The shelter was ready to put me to sleep, because I had been hit by a car. The shelter originally thought I was a stray, but once I got to the emergency vet, they scanned my microchip and found out I had a family. I had slipped out an open door and my family had been searching for me ever since. Unfortunately, as much as it hurt my family, they couldn't afford all the medical care I'm going to need to get me fixed. I've got a broken pelvis and some spine issues, so I'll need lots of time to heal. My family decided that it was in my best interest to go to SSR, so I could get the all the care I need. Obviously they loved me so much and I'll be searching for a family that can give me the same amount of love!
