Parker is a sweet nugget of joy and happiness:) Unfortunately due to his former owners negligence to provide adequate veterinary care, Parker is currently being treated for heartworm disease and will require some follow up care, at the rescues expense, should he be adopted prior to treatment completion. Just to be clear, Parker is a mixed breed dog and is only about 45 lbs. He has already caught on to the routine in his foster home, and gets along well with his foster siblings and is living peacefully with cats. Parker is the kind of dog that seems very grateful to have been rescued, and is very endearing and happy. He is very easy to have around, he’s housebroken, and is fairly low energy(he may or may not become more active once he’s done with his heartworm treatment).
