Hi, everyone, this is Primo who is now ready for his forever home. In the one week I've had him, he lives up to his name! Such a cuddly, sweet Velcro dog and a fast favorite in his foster home. He arrived timid, but without any trace of aggression. He has blossomed quickly and is so happy to start his next chapter in life. He is on the smaller size for a male shepherd, but that only just makes him look like an eternal puppy. He is great with other dogs and best needs to go home with another active dog to play. He gets his confidence from being around his 2 foster brothers; thanks to them Primo has mastered the art of the stairs and came out of his shell more quickly to reveal the toy-loving goofball he is! He is working on being leash-trained as everything is new and exciting at the moment, but it's nothing unruly. He is very smart with eye contact and food motivation which makes him pretty trainable. He is crate-trained during the day while his family is out, but sleeps on his cushy dog bed next to his foster mom without any issues. Housebreaking is 90% done as he adapts to the new routine. Primo is also terrific with cats and trustworthy with his 2 foster felines. He adores the kids in his home very sweetly and puts up with their numerous hugs. He's a lil clumsy at the moment and without manners so he best would go to a home with kids 5+ up. This gem hits that trifecta of being dog/cat/kid friendly while being ridiculously photogenic.
