Melvin is a dream dog. He is the dog that people have been searching for. He's is a happy-go-lucky dog who never stops wagging his tail. Melvin is good with all people, big and small. He is even happy to greet a stranger and give them some love. Melvin will welcome you with open paws and some kisses when he first meets you.

Melvin enjoys playing with his doggy friends and also gets along well with his kitty friends. Melvin is the perfect mix of energy and relaxation. Melvin will love going on a hike or run with you, or playing with some neighborhood friends, but when you’re done he will cuddle up against you for the rest of the night. He is very agile and would most likely excel at agility work. He has shown that he knows some tricks already and can jump up and catch treats in the air. He would love having a fenced-in yard to play in.

He is a dream in the car and lays right down to sleep. Melvin is also a rather quiet dog so you don’t have to worry about him waking the neighbors. Of course, he'll will need some basic obedience training as he is still young and sometimes exhibits puppy-like behavior.
