Looking for a mild-mannered mid-sized love bug? Sandy is affectionate, playful and chill. And, what a cuddler! She loves being with kids - any human really and dog friends, and is good with cats too! Quiet alone time is fine too. Favorite activities: playing with rope toy, cuddling while binge-watching TV shows about dogs, and sleeping. She's easy to train because she's food motivated. She goes potty outside; great at bath time, in the car and crate. She’s good on a leash; she takes her walks wearing a harness so that she practices that jumping up and pulling are no-nos. She’s fine with humans touching her food but doesn’t like other dogs trying to take her food (who does?!). She’s convalescing from surgery on her elongated palate, aimed at repairing breathing and eating problems. Her backstory: she was rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas.
