Gunner is a sweet, lovable boy, he loves to be by your side at all times and will follow wherever you go. He loves to play frisbee and run, and run, and run; but does not like to be left alone.Gunner is gentle, but nervous in unfamiliar situations. He does not have an aggressive bone in his body.
Gunner is a very active boy and will need exercised multiple times a day to tire him out. His favorite thing is to play fetch with his frisbee, or run in the yard with other dogs. He could play for hours on end if allowed. Gunner is good with cats and dogs, but can become curious and follow a cat. He has not been around children much, but his previous owner stated that he was good with children over 10.
Gunner is house trained and signal's when he needs to go potty by barking at the door.
He is also crate trained, but has some anxiety when he first goes into the crate, with time and positive reinforcement he will calm down.
Gunner will need someone who is willing to work with him and bond with him, he was an owner surrender and was very bonded with his previous mom. Due to health reasons she had to make sure that he would have a loving home moving forward and be well taken care of.
Gunner does not have any medical concerns that we are aware of.
Gunner would do best in a home with other companion animals to help expel his energy, he loves other dogs and will ignore cats for the most part.
