This poor baby was surrendered to the shelter in critical condition. She needed a blood transfusion to save her life, which costs over $2000 at the local ER vet. Hershey's owner said they could not afford the cost of a transfusion. Since they were going to take her home to die, we asked the owners to drop off at the local ER and SSR will take custody of her. Well, she’s finally in VA and looking for and experienced owner willing to give their love and dedicate their time to helping her become the best dog she can be! Herhsey is absolutely beautiful! She is roughly 40 lbs and is approximately 5 months old. She is dog and kid friendly. She is still very curious about the cats, but seems to be getting better. Hershey is very high energy and would do best with an experienced owner or someone who is willing to put the time into training. She is house trained, crate trained, and knows basic commands.
