Lucky has a heart of gold and is all about his people. He feels most secure and happiest when he is around others and being petted. (He gives plenty of doggie kisses as thank yous!) He has a low key energy level, but may become more active as he gets used to his new home. If he isn’t playing with the humans, you will find him with his Kong ball. Lucky isn’t one to jump into the bathtub, but will tolerate it once there. He also isn’t sure about the car, but will sit quietly for a ride. He is potty trained and will go into his crate at night. He doesn’t like being in it during the day, again, preferring to be with his people. Lucky is good with dogs and kids. (Kids = Petting, OK with Lucky!) He is curious about cats, but we do not know at this time how he will do up close and personal with them. He hasn’t had any obedience training, and we would recommend a beginner obedience class to help him build some confidence. He does fairly decent on a leash and can be redirected with verbal commands. Lucky wants to please his people and should train well. Lucky’s perfect home would involve a place where people are around a good bit of the day. He draws his strength and happiness from his people and with lots of love and attention, he will shine! He would love to be included in your day to day life and will reward you with amazing loyalty.
