Julie is an adult dog with the heart and soul of a puppy. She loves her toys, especially the stuffed ones, and loves treats. She will take treats very gently and declares all treats are her favorite thus far. (Jenny loves to snuggle with her toys at night and hide them behind her when she sleeps. This dog is such a sweetie!) She loves going for walks and playing fetch. With her endless energy, she is happy to keep pace with you all day long. With some obedience training, she would make a great running or hiking buddy. Jenny would benefit from a fenced in yard where she can run and play. In her downtime, she likes to hang out with her people. Jenny does great in the car and loves to look out the window. She did great at bath time and thought the towel made a fun new toy! She isn’t completely potty trained, but it is something we are working on. Jenny is great with kids and other dogs. She doesn’t dislike cats, but really wants to play with them. Seeing as how most cats aren’t a fan of this, we would recommend dog savy cats only. She does not have any basic obedience training, but is a good listener and very treat motivated. She should pick up some great new skills quickly in a basic obedience class. She does pretty decent on a leash, but can pull sometimes. Jenny is underweight due to lack of food and hookworms. We are currently getting her up to weight and treating the hookworms. She also has mange and will need to be bathed twice a week until the condition clears up.
