Dusty is a very sweet, laid back guy. At 1.5 years old, he seems to have settled into adulthood, with a few puppy throwbacks every now and then. As he gets more used to his surroundings, we suspect his playful nature will come more to the surface. Dusty is a curious dog yet doesn’t need to get into every little thing. He isn’t picky about toys and is happy to be playing with his animal or human friends. Dusty is great with other dogs, indifferent to cats, and loves kids. When he is in his puppy-mode, he can be a little rambunctious, so he could knock over little, little ones. When not playing with friends or bringing out his inner puppy, you can find Dusty lounging the day away. He is a lower to moderate energy dog and likes equal play time to nap time ratios. He does great in the car and is figuring out that baths are pretty awesome. He is potty trained, however doesn’t have any obedience training. As with all our dogs, we recommend beginner obedience classes. Dusty does well in his crate at night and sometimes lounges in it during the day. Dusty does well on a leash but doesn’t have any actual leash training. Dusty is equal parts play and couch potato and could blend right in to a more laid back family. He has a sweet soul and beautiful temperament. Dusty is currently underweight and has some hair loss. We are working to bring up to weight and getting his looking amazing once again.
