Clyde here again. I’ve been with my foster family for almost a week now. Foster mom said I should let y’all know a little bit about me. I like my furry foster brothers and sister…well, the foster sister is old and a little grumpy, so I just leave her alone. They’ve also got some of those kitty things. I don’t pay them much mind. I’m just not into that kind of thing. But one of them hissed at me and I had to bark at her. A man’s gotta defend his honor! There are a few foster kids, too. I like them because they play with me with toys. Oh, I like toys! Foster mom says it’s good that they’re a little older. She’s afraid if they were younger, I might knock them over. I’m a big boy you know and with all the good food I’m finally getting, I’m only going to gain some muscle and fill out. Mom says that food should help my itchy skin, too. That would be nice, because itching all the time stinks! Foster mom says I walk pretty good on a leash. She only has to remind me every once in a while to not pull when I get excited. Sometimes I just forget myself. She’s teaching me to be good, too. I’m getting the sit thing down, then she says she’ll teach me some more stuff, so I can impress my new family. You mean, I get a family of my very own?! Who’s it gonna be? Oh, now I’m really excited! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Howdy y'all, I'm Clyde. Picture this: I was running around Texas just free as a bird and I got caught and put in this super noisy, big kennel place. I heard someone call it a kill shelter, but I'm not sure what that's about. All I know is I've been traveling a while now, arrived in the state of Virginia, and it was so great to get out and stretch my legs. Speaking of, I heard one of the ladies who met me say my legs go on for days. Hey girls, that's a good thing! Now I'm at a smaller kennel place getting neutered...ummm, what? They said I'm heartworm positive too, but my foster mom is going to get me started on my treatment and I'll be good as new in no time. I haven't gotten a chance to meet my foster mom yet (the ladies said she was going to take good care of me), so I'll get back to y'all with an update as soon as I'm settled in!
