From the little we know about Naomi, we know that she hasn’t known much love in her short life. At my son’s school, they recently made acrostics for each other (you know, where you spell out someone’s name and write an adjective to describe them for each letter in their name), and we thought we’d like to show Naomi some love and make one for her too! I’d like to share it with you: N – Nice: Naomi is as nice as they come. This sweet girl is so good with kids and very gentle, too! A – Amazing: Despite her rough beginnings, Naomi’s perseverance is truly amazing. O – Outstanding: This sweet girl’s personality is outstanding. Despite her young age, she is content to lay down on her bed next to you and chew on a bone. M – Marvelous: Naomi suffered from an extreme case of mange when we first rescued her, and her hair is starting to grow back. These days, she’s looking as lovely on the outside as she absolutely is on the inside! I – Intelligent: Naomi is a very smart cookie. She walks well on a leash and is awesome with other dogs young and old! Naomi would do best in a home without cats as she is very interested in them. She needs a human who can show her the love she was lacking in her previous life in Texas. Naomi is truly a Velcro dog and only wants to be by your side. She is housebroken and crate trained, and any family would be lucky to have her! Naomi is approximately 60 pounds and needs to gain 10 - 15 more.
