Nikita just arrived in Maryland and so far she is a very friendly dog, getting along well with the foster's other two dogs and seems to like everyone.
Nikita is a family surrender to the Shelter in Texas, no reason given, but with a massive tick infestation. She is about 1.5 years old. She knows sit, down, and is working on leash training, and eating from her bowl instead of dumping it on the floor. It appears she may have been abused before, as she drops to a submissive prone position, if the foster approaches her too fast. She loves to play with toys and other dogs.

Nikita is fostered in Boonsboro, MD.
