Hi y’all. My name is Tommy. Personally, I think they named me after Tom Selleck, because I’m no spring chicken, but I’m handsome as heck. I’m basically your dream dog. Good looking, laid back, loves to be with you, loves other dogs! I have lived in three different homes as I made my way to this place, and I have been a sweetheart with big dogs, little dogs, and cats. (There‘s a rumor that I’m afraid of the cats, bu t I refuse to address rumors. Fake News!!!) I like walks that are not too fast and not too long, so if that’s how you roll, you are gonna LOVE me. I’m good in the car and like to ride, though you will need to give me a lift up. Like all interesting personalities, I have my flaws…..I’m all about what is on your counter (or dresser, or tables), and I pull a bit on the leash, though we are working on that. I have been in my foster home a week, and only have had two little accidents….I’m going to be “neutered” next week (whatever that is – sounds kinda cool) so my marking will be helped even more by that, I am told. I have some hip dysplasia and arthritis, and a few other ear and skin issues that are being addressed. I will probably need pain meds every day, but for a 7 year old, I’m a beauty!
