Melody is estimated to be around 10 months old and is one smart cookie! She loves to be around people and really loves children. Melody is still very much a puppy and does tend to be mouthy. Her foster family has been working on this with her and she is getting better. A home with older children or GSD savvy children would probably be best. Melody does well around other dogs, especially laid back dogs, after slow, proper introductions. Once she is comfortable, she is ready to play! Melody is interested and curious about cats but not aggressive towards them. Melody is a little insecure so she would do well with a family that would be loving and consistent at the same time. Melody needs to learn that the world is not scary and that she is safe and loved. She corrects VERY easily and really wants to please! She walks beautifully on a leash and likes to stay right by your side. Melody loves to play fetch and will even bring the ball back to you. She loves her toys and will sit with you and happily chew her bones while you watch tv. She is recovering from mange so her beautiful fur is currently spotty, but her fur has begun to grow back.
