Emma is a 2 year old German Shepherd/Husky mix. Emma was brought to the shelter as a stray, completely emaciated (30 pounds when she should be closer to 45) and heartworm positive with 3 puppies who have all been adopted now.  SSR will pay for her heartworm treatment.

Emma is slow to trust humans but also does not like to be alone. She would do best in a home with a patient family who will help her gain the weight she needs and allow her to flourish into the happy, confident dog she is supposed to be

We are learning more about her every day and will update this page as we learn more about her.
