Magnolia is simply lovely! She was great in Petco and Home Depot and was a bit of a show-stopper. We didn’t get much done because everyone wanted to stop and talk to her and she LOVED it (can someone say, “Diva”?) Magnolia loves playing with her toys and other doggie friends. She does like to be with her people as well. She is a very smart dog and quickly picks up what is "ok" and not "ok". She thinks food is fabulous, and has shown no food aggression. She loves car rides, and waits nicely in the car. She has been good with the foster’s dogs. She was curious about her cat at first, but seems to have decided they are just fun to watch, not good playmates. She accompanied her foster to work, and she was good with both men and women. She has been good with the dog-savvy kids she’s been introduced to, and she doesn’t seem to pay them any mind. She was super while waiting in a large crate for her exam at the veterinarian. She has had no issues when left home alone uncrated. She slept well on her dog bed in the foster’s room. She is housebroken, will tell you when she wants to go out. She was cooperative with her bath, and nail trim. She had an ear hematoma which is going to take some time to heal. She’s going to have an ear that has “character” and it probably won’t stand up. Magnolia is not a fan of going up or down stairs, especially steep ones, so the foster is working with her. She’s doing awesome on her hot-pink Gentle Leader. She will respond well to it, as she’s a puller and continued use is strongly recommend. She will go to her adopter with the Gentle Leader. Magnolia has been with the foster for a short time, and the information about will be updated as we get to know more about Magnolia.
