Like most of our dogs, we found Darla in a high-kill shelter in South Texas. She was on borrowed time. The shelter intakes so many dogs that rescues are unable to keep up, and Darla’s soft ears put her at the bottom of everyone’s potential list. We just fell in love with her adorable little face and said we’d take her! Darla is doing great in her temp foster home where she is getting along with dogs, cats and poultry!
