Becca is a sweet little Carolina mix with just enough shepherd to make her smart and loyal. If there was a Miss Lovable Dog competition she would win hands down. With talents like nestling her head into your shoulder, providing endless gentle kisses, and politely taking food, treats, and toys from hands, no other dog can beat her! She doesn’t destroy toys, in fact she takes good care of them, and with enough stimulation throughout the day there isn’t a destructive bone in her petite, 50 pound body. But the best part about Becca? She loves kids! This is a girl who needs a house with kids to love and cuddle with. This girl is house-trained, isn’t a fan of closed crates, and loves to sleep on the bed with her family throughout the entire night. She can co-exist with cats, but they would have to be extremely dog-savvy cats with experienced cat/dog owners. Becca loves having friends, and while it took her some time and patience to warm up to the resident dog, they can be found either wrestling in the backyard or playing tug-of-war throughout the house. She’s a bit of a jealous girl and is leash reactive, so she’ll need experienced owners if she’s to be introduced into a home with another submissive four-legged brother. If you were to ask Becca, she would say that she’s looking for a fun, happy family with at least one work/stay at home parent and a kid or two to spoil her rotten.
