Billy was abandoned at a shelter in Egypt due to his deformities. He had been there for THREE years before SSR found him. Billy was born with straight rear legs, but his disability does not prevent him from walking and running like any other dog. The shelter Billy resided in for three years houses over 1,000 dogs and they have zero adoptions. Many of these dogs have been there for years, escaping the horror of life on the streets. Our first rescue from Egypt was poisoned twice and ran over by a car intentionally. They cannot afford to feed dog food and all dogs are fed rice and bread soaked in broth. Their only hope is to escape their country. It costs SSR $550 per dog to rescue from Egypt. Please considering donating to help offset these costs.
