This lovable galoot is Tyson, an 80 pound 10 month old male shepherd. Tyson is a friendly, playful and outgoing fellow. He has enjoyed meeting the neighbors at his foster home, and has tried very hard to charm the other pups he's met, but some of them find his large size combined with his puppyish demeanor a bit overwhelming. Make no mistake, Tyson IS still very much a puppy -- although he's close to his full adult size, his mind is still catching up with his body, and he will flourish in a home that can provide training, boundaries, and consistency, to help him work on good manners. That being said, he's got some great things going for him already - he's done very well with house-training, takes treats very nicely, and tolerates crating. Because of his age and size, he can be a bit clumsy, so is probably not ideal for a home with younger children, unless they are very durable!
Tyson is up to date on his vaccines and will be neutered prior to adoption. He is fostered in Winchester, VA.
