Learn more about the Chow Chow.
Nita is learning how to behave in a home and working on house-training. She is not 100% house-trained. If not supervised she needs to be crated because she will chew on things. Also has a bad habit of scratching and digging at furniture which we are trying to break. She is quiet in the house. No barking at all. Not toy or food aggressive. If another dog wants a toy she has she leaves it. However, she does get pushy with people when there is food or treats. We are working on learning patience. Nita does not have any leash-walking skills at all, and is stubborn about learning them.
Not cat-tested. She needs a home where she’s with older, dominant dogs. She wants to be the dominant dog in the house and will try to dominate more submissive dogs. She however completely ignores our shepherd because Athena put the smack down on her. Athena is the dominant dog in the house and Nita learned and respects that. But Freja is the submissive dog and Nita tries to dominate. So a confident dominant dog would be best. Great meeting all people and kids. Calm and sweet and a real cuddle bug.
