Boomer simply stated is perfection. His gentle, laid back personality match his stunning looks. He came to SSR as a stray from Texas but it is obvious at one point in his life he was owned by somebody as he already knows basic commands, manners, potty trained, does not need to be crated when you are away and will even give you his paw to shake. Boomer is currently around 65 lbs and needs to put on a good 15 lbs or so, this boy has some big paws! Boomer loves every dog and person he meets, big or small! He’s being fostered with two other GSDs and a cat. Boomer is very playful and interested in the cat but has shown no aggression. Since the cat has grown up around GSDs and is a very dog savvy cat, the cat isn’t phased by Boomer at all. Boomer will make an excellent addition to any family! This gorgeous boy is heartworm positive and being fostered in Richmond, Virginia. I'm new to Shenandoah Rescue! I am a young guy who was rescued from a high-kill shelter in Texas.
