Hi, my name is Dakota and I traveled from Texas to my foster home in WV. My foster parents said a foster home is where I can relax and take time to find out what I like, don't like, what I need and what I am looking for in a forever family. I know I like following my foster family around everywhere, falling asleep on the couch or just watching everyone go about their day. I REALLY love being petted, it feels soooo good. I like riding in a car and taking walks. For now I can only take short walks because I need to gain some weight and build up my stamina. I am looking forward to the day I can take a long hike with my forever family. I have met a few cats and decided that they would NOT taste good, so i just sniff them or ignore them which impressed my foster parents. I am looking for a forever family that will be patient and help me gain weight slowly and not expect me to be very active in the beginning. If you currently have a fur baby, I will need some time to adjust, as I do like to have all the attention. My foster family is working with me on this.
