ATTENTION: If you are interested in adopting me, please read our FAQ and Adoption Process at www.shenandoahrescue.org Pixie sure would love a human to call her own! She's super sweet and would love nothing more than to cuddle with you. (No one has told her that she isn't a German Shepherd)!! She could live with an older, less exuberant, or very well trained dog as she's not too excited about them being in her personal space but she'd prefer to avoid confrontation rather than take action. She can still be opinionated at times (this is the Husky side of the family) so a firm/fair person who will advocate for her would be ideal. Pixie is doing well with her obedience commands and her past behavior problems are behind her. She is crate trained, not barky and would just prefer to chill out. We've tested her for her AKC CGC and she passed with flying colors! Pixie is Heartworm positive so she will need treatment in the near future but she will love all the extra attention! She is available through Shenandoah Shepherd Rescue for Foster or better yet, her forever home. Tammy @ Creature Comfort Inn will provide 2 lessons for adopters and lifetime training support for Pixie. She is being fostered in Strasburg, VA www.shenandoahrescue.org/adopt
