Dixie is a black and white border collie and weighs 40 pounds, She is a very happy and sweet dog who loves cuddling and being close to people. She has a calm demeanor and loves sleeping and relaxing. She's great at walking on a leash and is also very smart. At first Dixie is hesitant around new people, but as soon as she feels safe she opens up to them. Dixie has just finished heartworm treatment- her microfilariae test came back negative on 11/21/17, so she just needs to be retested for heartworm again in 6 months.
