Harvey was estimated by the vet to be around a year old. He is very puppyish so we wouldn't expect him to be any older than that. He loves to run and play. He is great with the foster's two dogs and has gotten along with every dog he has met. He is also good with cats. He will sniff them but once he gets that out of the way, he doesn't bother them anymore. He is just a happy go lucky, goofy dog who is eager to please. Harvey is not crate trained but is house trained and since leaving him out with the foster's two dogs when they leave home, he has never had an accident. He is a chewer so it is important to have plenty of toys for him. He seems to have a little bit of separation anxiety. He cries when he is alone so we do think he would do best in a home with another dog or where the owner is not gone for long periods of time. The foster takes him everywhere with them and he does phenomenal. He has gone camping, breweries, wineries, hiking, family events etc and he is wonderful. He loves going for car rides and hanging his head out the window. He is getting better everyday at walking on a leash and learning new commands. "Harvey is a great pup and will need someone who is patient with him as he is still learning what life is supposed to be like. In the month that we have had Harvey, he has made so much progress. He went from running away from us and not wanting to be touched to jumping in the bed and snuggling up to us. He comes when he is called for a does it with his tail wagging non-stop."
