He is adjusting okay and coming out of his shell more and more each day. He is *very* underweight and missing a ton of hair. His skin condition looks to be on the mend but I would give him a week more to make sure it doesn't flare back up with stress. He does seem very itchy and likes to scratch a lot. IMO, I think he would benefit from a solid month in foster care. I think he could use the stability and the time to put on much needed weight. He also has severe separation anxiety but we are working on getting him used to being in a crate at times and by himself. He is remarkably calm and very sweet but I really feel like he would benefit from some down time and time to adjust to a normal life. Huey Lewis is currently being fostered in Alabama, but we will be transferring him to VA at some point.
